Niamh Ní Mhathúna Utsch is an Irish Goldsmith, hailing from Cashel, Tipperary. Having grown up in the gold and silver smithing world, she commenced her goldsmithing apprenticeship in 1981.
In 1984 Niamh went to further her knowledge in Jewellery Design at the renowned Fachhochschule fur Gestaltung in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany. Subsequently she spent ten years working with Goldsmith masters in Germany, learning new skills in Silver, Gold and Platinum.
All Niamh’s work is her own design. Her gallery, located on Dingle’s Upper Green Street, has become a focal point for thousands of cultural visitors to Dingle every year since it was established in 1996.
Niamh’s collection consists of hand-crafted rings, bracelets, necklaces, cuff links, bangles, brooches and earrings. Combined, they make a beautiful collection of hand-crafted objects made from the finest materials. Brushed Gold is a colour inspired by Niamh’s talent in jewellery making.
Forming raw gold into exclusive future heirlooms, Niamh Utsch only uses the finest materials for her handcrafted pieces of modern jewellery. Each with a glinting hue of Brushed Gold, balanced with jewels and gems for bold and exclusive designs.
